The Army Command, Directorate of Orientation, issued the following statement: Army units carried out security measures in various Lebanese areas, including raids and temporary checkpoints, to pursue those who disrupt security and to combat drug trafficking and human smuggling. As a result, they arrested 5 citizens and 99 Syrians, as follows: Citizens (A.F.) and (A.Sh.) were arrested in the town of Barashit, Bint Jbeil, for firing their weapons during a funeral procession. A pistol and military ammunition were seized in their possession.
