IMLebanon reported, citing the "Secrets" column of the newspaper Nidaa al-Watan, that the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon had told Hezbollah to circulate precautionary measures to its MPs, ministers, leaders and their families.
IMLebanon published the report on 4 November 2026.
According to the website, the measures include exercising caution, securing alternative homes, and stocking food and children's supplies.
The sources cited in the column linked these measures to leaked information about an imminent US strike on Iran. They also linked them to the possibility that Hezbollah would become involved in what it called a "support war".
What is currently available is limited to IMLebanon's report citing Nidaa al-Watan, that is, a single indirect source.
The identity of the sources relied on by Nidaa al-Watan has not been established. Nor has the accuracy of the leaked information about a US strike been confirmed, or its possible timing. It is not clear whether Hezbollah or the Iranian Embassy has commented on the report or denied it.
